To give personal financial advice about “financial products” a person or business must hold an Australian Financial Services License issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, ASIC.

You can check licenses at www.asic.gov.au    Under “Search Asic registers”   go to “other registers”  and select either AFS Licensee or AFS Authorised Representatives.

If we give you actual personal financial  advice it comes with a full “Financial Services Guide” with all the legalities and a “Statement of Advice” covering all points of disclosure related to the advice.
